Dorsett Hospitality International appointed Anita Chan, general manager of Dorsett Wanchai, Hong Kong, Cosmo Hotel Hong Kong and Dorsett Mongkok, Hong Kong with an additional role as senior vice president of brand marketing.
Washington-based Trellis named Benjamin Closson as executive chef. Closson previously worked as the executive chef at Nordstrom’s flagship location in downtown Seattle, where he oversaw all food and beverage offerings, including at Cafe Nordstrom and The Grill.

Sean Hunt was named area vice president Australia, New Zealand; Ashley Hansen was appointed area director of sales and distribution; Florencia Aimo was promoted to area director of marketing; Richard Crawford was named senior director, development, Australia, New Zealand and Pacific; and Maria Verner was promoted to manager, development for Marriott International.

Atrium Hospitality named Obed H. Morales general manager of Embassy Suites by Hilton Dallas Fort Worth North. Morales joins the Atrium Hospitality team from John Q Hammons Hotels & Resorts, where he was general manager of Embassy Suites by Hilton Albuquerque Hotel & Spa for the past three years.
Dorchester Collection promoted Philip Morris to global commercial director. Morris first joined Dorchester as corporate director of revenue management in 2013.
Virgin Hotels named Michel Notten as GM of its forthcoming San Francisco property, set to open in winter. Most recently Michel Notten served as general manager of Hotel Zetta San Francisco, a property in the Viceroy Hotel Group portfolio.
The Roosevelt New Orleans, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel, appointed Edward Dennis Pearse as general manager.
Harold Rapoza, Jr., a 26-year veteran of the Hilton Hotel chain, was named general manager of the Hotel Del Coronado. Rapoza succeeds Andre Zotoff, who has been at the Hotel Del since 2013, when the hotel was both managed and owned by KSL Resorts.

Oliver Schnatz was named general manager of the flagship property for Sofitel Luxury Hotels in Southeast Asia, the Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit. Schnatz spent the previous three years as the hotel manager of the Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok.
