Designed by Brazilian architect Patricia Anastassiadis, the 200-room hotel is rooted in Brazilian art and natural landscape. The Grand Lobby features “Papéis Avulsos,” by artist Laura Vinci, introducing the same greenery as found in Burle Marx Park. The Burle Bar features photographs of the Amazon rainforest signed by Cristian Cravo, Araquem Alcantara and Alessandro Gruetzmacher. In the hotel’s restaurant, Tangará Jean-Georges, a green carpet imitates the bottom of the lake and reflection of the forest on the water. The walls feature ceramics with copper details and paintings created exclusively for Palácio Tangará by Heloisa Galvão.
