Luma Hotel Times Square, from owner/developer 41st Midtown Hotel, has officially opened its doors.
New York Midtown Hotel will manage the hotel, which was designed by Peter Poon Architects and stretches 28-floors with an all-glass exterior.
The 130-room hotel has floor-to-ceiling windows, with minimalist design. All guest rooms come with complimentary amenities, including Italian bath amenities, Nespresso coffee, Wi-Fi, and luxury bathrobes and slippers.
James Beard Award-winning Iron Chef Jose Garces leads Luma’s restaurant, Ortzi, which serves Basque-inspired tapas. The adjacent bar offers signature cocktails and a comprehensive wine program.
The hotel’s GM, Kate Martin, previously served as general manager of the New York-based Hotel Chandler, where she supervised a full-property renovation.
