Best Western Hotels & Resorts is vastly expanding its footprint in Scandinavia with the acquisition of Sweden Hotels, Gothenburg, Sweden. The launch of Best Western och Sweden Hotels boosts the Phoenix-based global giant’s network in to 138 hotels in Sweden and 180 hotels in Scandinavia.
Best Western said it, in part, made the deal to be at the forefront of distribution, digitalization, customer relations and procurement.
“It feels great to join Best Western Hotels & Resorts. With this merger we will now be able to help the hotels even more in areas such as distribution, marketing, purchasing and sales,” said Sweden Hotels Chairman Jenny Bänsch.
