IHG has opened its first Holiday Inn property with the brand’s H4 design, which was developed in collaboration with Holiday Inn hotel owners and guests.
The new-build 153-room Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Bellingham hotel is located in Bellingham, Washington. As part of the new design, the hotel has an area where guests hang their coats, drop their keys and personal belongings and plug in their devices. Rooms also come with a new moveable desk and more than five dedicated points of power throughout the space.
The hotel also has a new room type, which comes with a trundle-type bed that doubles as a sofa during the day and can pull out into two twin beds at night. The room design caters to both business travelers and families with kids and teens.
Amenities including free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, business center, 7,800 square feet of meeting space with capacity for more than 785 people, and open public areas for collaboration or post-meeting relaxing.
Additional amenities at the hotel include an indoor saline pool with steam room and sauna as well as a fitness center.
