The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami unveiled its newly redesigned guest rooms and signature restaurant concept.
Designed by Wimberly Interiors, the re-imagined guest rooms feature design elements with a laidback island feel. The rooms infuse subtle beach tones of blues and grays, with touches of green.
In addition to the debut of the guestroom design, new room categories have been introduced, including the luxury Ritz-Carlton Suite, which includes two bedrooms, a full kitchen and dining room as well as panoramic views of the ocean with two balconies.
Lightkeepers, the hotel’s new restaurant and bar, is named in homage to the lighthouse keepers who watched over Key Biscayne’s historic Cape Florida Lighthouse. The restaurant, designed by the firm The Johnson Studio, has a contemporary, coastal-inspired dining room, indoor/outdoor bar and a beverage program featuring craft cocktails. Raul A. Del Pozo serves as executive chef, and his menu is heavy with locally grown and caught ingredients.
Home to two swimming pools, a secluded stretch of white sand beach, and a spa, as well as an large tennis center designed by the legendary Cliff Drysdale, the resort offers outdoor yoga, cycling classes and guided hikes as well as a selection of distinctive locally inspired dining options.
