Located adjacent to The Beverly Hilton, the 12-story hotel is the Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts’ first new build on the West Coast, joining the group’s portfolio of 26 hotels and resorts.

Owned by Alagem Capital Group and clients of Guggenheim Partners, the hotel’s 119 deluxe rooms and 51 suites were designed by Parisian interior design firm Pierre-Yves Rochon. The hotel will offer a new restaurant from Michelin-star chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, a 5,000-square-foot La Prairie Spa, and rooftop pool and deck — the city’s largest.

Each room features floor-to-ceiling windows opening onto oversized private balconies. On the hotel’s third level, large Villa Suites open onto private garden terraces. Richly upholstered furniture has tones of celadon, taupe and white.

The hotel’s triple-height lobby has a contemporary Art Deco design, hand-painted murals and custom crystal chandeliers. Decorative crystal Lalique and art pieces are installed throughout the hotel.
