News in brief: Hilton, Best Western, Accor

Hilton Paris Eiffel Tower: Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand will add a second property in central Paris, the Hilton Paris Eiffel Tower. Plans were unveiled at MIPIM in conjunction with owner Compagnie de Phalsbourg, with whom Hilton has signed a management agreement to operate the 118-room property. French designer Philippe Starck will be in charge of interior design of the property.

 


BW Premier, Asia: Best Western Hotels & Resorts will bring its new upscale hotel concept, BW Premier Collection, to Asia for the first time. The hotel group has signed an agreement with Thai real estate company, Habitat Group, for BluPhere Pattaya – a new-build eight-story project in Na Jomtien, a beach front setting on Thailand’s Eastern Seaboard.

 


Accor: AccorHotels has signed the Mercure Thame Lambert Hotel in Oxfordshire and the Mercure Hunton Park Watford in Hertfordshire – both properties in England. Both hotels have been signed under franchise agreements with the Estee Group and SR Hotels respectively.
