Bayswater interest sold: Singapore-based Lum Chang Holdings Limited sold the Pembridge Palace Hotel investment in Bayswater, London, to an overseas investor for £30 million (US$36.5 million). The buyer was not named.

 


Hyatt Centric in Fort Lauderdale: Kolter Hospitality, a division of The Kolter Group, plans a Hyatt Centric hotel in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in the first 15 floors of a new 46-story building downtown. Opening is scheduled for 2020.

Rubber roof on St. Andrews: The Old Course Hotel Golf Resort and Spa in St. Andrews, Scotland, plans to install a rubber roof as protection against errant golf balls. The hotel sits next to the tough par-4 17th Road Hole on the Old Course.
