Bio for Gordon Gorman

Scotland native Gordon Gorman has spent more than 40 years in the hospitality industry, starting his journey at the Heart of Midlothian Football Club in Edinburgh in 1972 — not on the soccer field, but in the kitchens of its fine-dining restaurant as an apprentice chef. He later worked in markets including London, Paris, Rome, Bangkok and Seoul — among others —with several leading international hotel brands. He is the founder of the Food and Beverage Association of Thailand, a keynote speaker on the subjects of hospitality management and entrepreneurship and an active supporter of many local charity and community projects.
